I've been BloggTipped!!
I noticed the other day that I had been given a really lovely shout out by Wendy Piersall. Thank you soooo much, you're very kind :) I've never been called a 'Maven' before; I didn't even know what it meant! So when I looked it up I was chuffed to bits (Big Cheesey Grin!!)

This smart shoulder bag was handmade by Wendy. I love the shape at the top and the tab closure is very cool too.
I would seriously recommend to anyone who loves to blog and/or runs a
business, to check out Wendy's blog because it's sooo useful. I'm not just saying this to return the favour (though of course, to say 'thanks for the mention' is good blogging etiquette). I can't believe I hadn't stumbled onto it before. She puts loads of work into her blog providing heaps of useful advice and hints on how to better your blogs and how to make the most of your business; all written in a friendly way. Keep up the good work Wendy!

Thanks for the link to emoms Lisa. I've briefly had a quick peek after reading your post and it looks great. I'll need to spend some time reading through the archives!

Shucks - thanks Lisa! :)
I actually have a hard time when I come over here - and then I go and look at Zoe's blog, and it's even worse.
I get all revved up at the gorgeous things you gals are making and I look longingly at my sewing machine, knowing full well I don't have the time to indulge in such wonderfully luxurious creativity these days.
Alas, all is not lost, because I get to live my artsy self vicariously through you! :)

I'm glad you like it Zoe. I've made a few wee changes to my blog beacause of Wendy's blog insider info.
You know, I'm really enjoying this blogging stuff! I'm glad that you reccommended Typepad to me. It is reasonably easy to use, just like you said it would be - now I'm hooked!
I hope you both get well soon - you'll be missed :) XX
Hey you're welcome Wendy! It's great that you're willing to put all of this effort into your blog for folks like me!
I know what you mean by not quite having the time to indulge in being creative. It's my 'day job' and yet there are times when I've dreamt up a gazillion bag designs that I'd like to make but I have to get on with the accounts, or stock the shelves, and other businessy stuff like that!
That said, the quality of the craft some of the other craft blogs make me feel very inspired and humbled too. It's just lovely to feel involved either by admiring and/or making :)
