Artful Blogging Journal Review and Giveaway!!
'Scuse me, but this post is an extension of a contest post that I'm running on my CraftBoom! blog. I'm doing a review of a very delicious journal that focuses on the joy of art and craft blogging and it's up for grabs!
The reason that I've posted this contest on U-Handblog is that the contest in CraftBoom! is only open to USA residents (not my rules!) so I thought it only fair to give folks from outside the US a chance to get their mitts on this luscious journal too.

If you live outside of the US - read the review on the Artful Blogging journal on my CraftBoom! blog and then pop back here to comment and enter the draw...
.
To enter all you have to do is be a NON USA resident and comment on THIS PARTICULAR POST in U-Handblog by:
- Reading through the contest post on CraftBoom! and then answering both of the questions in the comments on THIS blog (v. important that is is this blog you comment on or your entry won't be counted - eek!).
Contest Official-ness
- Please DO NOT enter this draw if you live in the US. If you're from the US you can pop over and enter the same contest on my other blog.
- I'll randomly draw 1 winner in a weeks time - 29th April and announce the winner the following day-ish. Good luck!
- I'll need to ask the winner to make a donation for the postage.
- Sorry I can't notify winners, so please keep an eye for the winner announcement. This is made easier for you if you subscribe to this blog so you don't have to keep checking back, although it's always great to have you pop-in for a read :0)
- Prizes which are not claimed within 3 weeks of the winner announcement will be carried forward to the next draw.
- Sorry I can't reply to contest/draw comments, but I do love reading every single one :)

Hi Lisa! I would love to be entered into the draw, please!
My blog is http://angharadhandmade.blogspot.com, and my shop is http://angharad.etsy.com
What I love most about blogging is the interaction with readers through the comments. It's so lovely to have someone take the time to say hello or to comment on something I've made. I love to read other crafting blogs too as I find it so inspiring to see the fantastic things made by others.

Oh thank goodness you are running this competition here too...my face nearly crumpled into a heap of disappointment as I looked down those lovely pictures on Craft Boom, but then saw the bit about US entries only...happiness comes with reading all the way to the end!

What I like about blogging: conversations with so many like-minded people, but who look at things from so many different angles.

I have a craft blog here http://jmckcrafts.blogspot.com/.
I love blogging about what I do because I can keep a record of my projects, it motivates me to finish off my projects so I can show them off, and I love the interaction with other people.
I love visiting other people's blogs because it motivates me and inspires me to do different things.

My Blog is here: http://solgrim.blogspot.com
I've just started blogging, but I'm addicted now. It's so inspiring to see what other people are making, and it's fun to share what I make myself. And it's a way to meet people too.

One of the best things about blogging? The way it has me thinking 'me too', when that seems to happen less frequently in real life. There's something about this community that makes us see what we have in common, instead of being blinkered by the differences. I really like that.

Blogging motivates me and makes me feel "I can do it". I'm an avid craft blogs reader and I am so inspired by others! It's great to feel I'm not alone out there :)

My blog: http://knittingplace.blogspot.com
What I like most about blogging is the interactive aspect of it. I've come in contact with so many lovely people out there. Blogging also influence what I do. I get more focused, and reflect more about my craft projects because I know I'm going to blog about it.
Reading other peoples blogs inspires me and I learn a lot from other people :-)

Hi there,
My blog is http://specialsmallstuff.blogspot.com
My shop is http://www.beckybean.com
I actually had a blog before I had a shop, so while I now blog partly to market my business, I still mostly blog for myself. I find that blogging helps me to see the beauty in small things, and that I look at both my creations, and also mundane things, with a more artful and appreciative eye now. For example, I may bake a boring old tray of scones, but now I will notice how the afternoon sun shining through the window highlights their crusty golden tops...so I'll photograph it and blog it! And maybe add the recipe for interest! And of course, I love the feedback that a blog brings. Great when you're making stuff to sell, and also great when you just want to feel part of a community. Sorry for the essay. I guess I am a bit passionate about my blog :)

I´m blogging now for half a year and my creative output increased enormously. The feedback of others motivates me to show new projects. To develope new techniques. That is some kind of pressure too....
I´m giving courses for making handbags. In my blog the participants can see, what will be up next.
And: Reading and commenting other international blogs improves my knowledge of foreign languages.
You can find my (german, but pictute-heavy) blog here: http://www.machwerke.blogspot.com

My blog is found here www.seemownay.de - I blog in German and English. I do not have a shop.
I love blogging because it is all about me. My real life centers around my kids, the family, the household so there isn't much room for me. Interacting with others appreciating the things I did is satisfying and helps me stay balanced.

I started my blog in january this year so I'm still learning and improving. So far I've found a lot of creative people, so many wonderful things and I'm so enthusiastic about it, this connection and interaction is something amazing. A blog is a way to express yourself and get in contact with people worldwide, isn't it great?

Hi Lisa - I am brand new at blogging - have been going for about a month now.
Here's my blog address:
http://maccabags.typepad.com/weblog/
I love making bags and I liked putting my first tutorial together - it's made me think about what others might need help with, and how to take effective photos, and what other people might be interested in - it's just made me think! I love reading other's blogs to get ideas and to marvel at how clever such a lot of people are. And how funny, touching, amazing, and willing to share, and .... etc. etc.!

Hi. My blog can be found at http://ethelandednastearoom.blogspot.com/
It hasn't been around for very long but I'm very proud of it. From a mum with techno-fear only 2 yeas ago to an addicted blogger is one very short step.
I love blogging cuz it's like being part of the biggest craft group in the world. There is so much knowledge and inspriation out there being shared. It's fantastic! As I sit in my little corner of the UK writing my thoughts and feelings down, it still amazes me that they will be read by people in such places as the USA and Autralia, and, even more incredibly, some of these people will have the same thoughts and feelings as me!! :0)

I started my blog in September, it chronicles my exploration of embroidery and my first steps in machine sewing:
http://www.suzical.co.uk/blog
I love the community feel of craft blogging - embroidery is not an interest a lot of my friends share, so going on line is a good way of sharing ideas and tips and getting inspiration and feedback..

It's so nice of you to give those of us outside of the US a chance too.
My blog "creative.mother.thinking" can be found at http://creativemother.de . I'm blogging about all aspects of my life, about making music, parenting, and sometimes crafting.
The thing I like most about blogging is that I get a forum to write about just anything I want, that there are people actually interested enough in my thoughts to read it, and that I have met so many like-minded people in this virtual world. If I had to make do with the real world I'd feel much more lonely. And I'd never write on a regular basis.

Hi Lisa :)
I have two blogs: http://papercloth.blogspot.com and http://craftybride.blogspot.com
I love blogging for so many reasons- sharing my work, my ideas and plans with people all over the worlds and reading comments from readers and then discovering their blogs. My bloglines reader is overflowing with great blogs!
Posted by: Christine | April 22, 2008 at 12:56 PM
My shiny new blog address is www.marmadaisy.com and my shop is www.marmadaisy.etsy.com
I love blogging because I live in the middle of nowhere, which is wonderful but does make me feel isolated. I love being able to speak with people I would never have met, and getting a little peek into their world. I also love how you can edit yourself - you can blog your best (or worst) bits and reveal as much or little as you like, and you know that half your readers will respond with "me too". There's a real sense of comradeship and support that I have never found anywhere else.

This looks like a fabulaous magazine. I sometimes wonder what I did with my time before I discovered blogging? Oh yes - ebay! But the huge difference is that blogging costs me nothing and I have learnt so much from such a diverse range of people and their lives and stories. I love writing and taking photos and my blog actually gives me a reason to do these things.
