• Table top ironing board (IKEA does a good and cheap one)
• Travel Iron (small size is good for nooks and crannies)
  
• Cup of tea (milk & one sugar)
  
• Some good tunes to sew to
  
• Fine sewing scissors and dressmaking scisssors
  
• Strong fabric glue
  
• Long & short dressmaking pins
  
• Loop turner (turns fabric tubes the right way out)
  
• Tissue paper for pattern making
  
• Tailors chalk
  
• Tape measure
  
• Pliers for purse chain and metal rings.
  
• Good sewing machine (mine is by Janome)
  
• Cutting board for rotary cutter (mine is by Fiskars)
• Rotary cutter (mine is by Olfa)
  
• Yard stick/metre rule
• Stitch ripper
