Here are one or two things that you might want to do instead of the house work, your job, going to the grocery store etc.

Some groovy crafty goings on:
Coming next: gorgeous (well, I think so) flower and plant pics from Kew botanical gardens.
Aw thanks for your feedback on Al's song everyone. Your comments have made Al so happy, he's puffed out his chest and now he wants to try and finish the song properly. He's way too shy about his music and when his missus tells him that he's good it's like your mum telling you "well, you're special to me".
Yes right the interview! Amy has very kindly let me interview her (and bless her) she has taken the time to write very in depth answers and provided photography to die for. There's also YOU READ HERE FIRST!! hot news of her up and coming book which will be guaranteed to fly off the shelves (I'd love a copy and I don't have kids!) Intrigued...then pop over to my other blog for a read of Amy's interview. Hope you enjoy it :)
.
Amy says: “I’m sporting a vintage find from my favorite clothing store “Foot Loose” here in Granville. The color is delicious. “
Phew! Snowed under today because heaps of deliveries have all arrived today (it's the same as the bus thing, you wait for ages and ages and then...) so the office is in an almighty mess. But the postie has also delivered two Canadian stowaways called Colin & Kevin so they can help me clear up the office. Al had invited these two chaps over as a surprise for me.
.
Colin: "Mmphff mmphff! Would you mind awfully getting your foot out of my face?"
Kevin: "Sorree! It's not like I have much choice!"

Kevin: "Ahh it's good to stretch your legs."
Colin: "Bit flippin' chilly in the UK isn't it?"

"Aw come on Colin cheer up, I'll make us all a nice hot cuppa."
Last chance saloon call for last minute entrants to the The Creative Family Book (with bonus prize) draw: If you haven't entered already you still have time before the draw ends tomorrow.
Thanks heaps for your kind comments about my powder pink frame purse. I had a whole bunch of requests for the pattern that I used to make it. So without further ado; here you go...
Note: this particular pattern works for a specific purse frame, but the shape of this pattern can be adopted for most any purse frame if you follow steps 1 - 2 of my purse frame tutorial.
So, start off with a 26.5cm x 16cm rectangle sheet of paper then measure and cut as shown in the pic below:
This pattern make a purse which looks like this. To make the pattern follow the steps below:
It was actually sunny yesterday, so one thing I did to make the most of the light was to take pics of the latest deliveries for the shop:

"Hello my pretties, I hope you had a pleasant journey and you feel very welcome here" :)

This fabric is sooo cute it's made from quilted squares of chambray and faded florals...mmmm!
I'm leaving work slightly early because; my best pal is getting married today (congrats Nicci! X)
Have a fabby weekend everyone!
Hope you had a smashing weekend everyone. It was my best pal's fiance's stag do last Saturday and somehow us girls got involved in celebrations towards the end, so I can't cope too well with loud noises at the moment...

OK so there was no clear favourite as to what I should make for the oilcoth tutorial so I'll make more than one thing from the list. Meanwhile (whilst I procrastinate yet further about actually making a start on the tut) here are some groovy crafty goings on you might want to check out:

I just wanted to tell you about a cool blog editor that I have been testing and using for the last 2 weeks. I'm not being hired by these guys or anything, it's just that I really like when things work (especially when they're free!)
The editor is called Qumana. Here are the things I like about it:
Here's a screen shot of me composing this very post with Qumana on my Mac. That's kinda mirror within a mirror isn't it?
