I've been designing bag making tutorials for Sewing World Magazine since October 06 and for the 1st month since I started I haven't been able to submit one. Waaaahhhhhhh!!!
I was just putting the finishing touches to the January 08 bag, and I ruined it at the very last minute (I would have shown you a pic of the last minute mis-hap but can't because I flew into a frenzied rage (Beans ran out of the room...poor fella) as I shouted various expletives and set about destroying my once cute bag with my fists and feet, and then threw it into the bin (with some force). I'm not usually in need of a bottle of chill pills, I had just had a bonkers 2 weeks (aachhh! I won't even begin to bore you...) and the last minute ruination of the Sewing World bag just tipped this bag maker over the edge a little bit...
Rubbish bag: I was so annoyed with myself I couldn't bring myself to start again. I have more or less calmed down, I will salvage what I can, and I will of course recycle as one should.
In fact I feel lots better now, and reading this post makes this event (small in the grand scheme of things) kinda funny! Have you ever REALLY lost your rag over something that you were making?
