Nnnnngghhhhhhh (this is sound of my bag maker's block)! I'm trying to get my head around how I'm going to get a part of the Sewing World bag to work, and it's hurting my head :(
It's times like this when a sweet treat and a cup of tea do wonders for restoring the bag making flow. I've cut down on the choccy though, because if I'm not sitting down sewing, I'm sitting down at the PC, so I've started making fruit smoothies instead of reaching for crisps or choccy. I thought I'd share a super easy and yummy smoothie recipe with you (I'm literally slurping on this as I type...mmm!)
It's 11am and it's time for some Berry-tastic smoothie. Berries are yummy and they are sooo good for you. I'll be darned if I'm catching another cold!
Lisa's 11am (snack) Berry Smoothie.
For one generous glass you'll need:
- Big handful of frozen mixed berries (or 7 fresh strawberries, or a punnet blueberries etc.)
- 250g natural yogurt which is half of those large tubs of yogurt (see pic below) bio is nicer is you have it.
- 2 tblspn of runny honey
- 125ml apple juice
- Small handful of oats (optional, you can add some if you're having this for brekky, or you're pekkish)
Method
1. Pop the berries into your blender along with the apple juice and whizz until smooth.
2. Add the yogurt and the honey (and oats if using) and whizz until smooth
3 Give empty yogurt pot to (eagerly) awaiting dog...
Beans also loves fruit, onions, cucumbers and farting...
