Thanks for your support in my dark bag making hour. I'm well over it now. I've salvaged what bits I can for some future bag, and I've left the rest in the bin...I'm not going to be a slave to it; I'm an adult. Who's the boss in this relationship anyway?
Who needs a door bell when you have a dog? Beans is great, he barks like a 'VERY HUNGRY 8 headed hound from hell' when there is a stranger at the door, so I always feel safe if I'm on my own. As soon as the door is opened Beans is super friendly to whomever is outside, (he'd put the kettle on if he could reach). Anyway this morning Beans barked his head off in the hallway, which meant it was the postie with packages...yay! Oh man! what a haul...
Now that's what I call a 1st class delivery! This little lot is going to amount to some very pleasant evenings indeed!
.
Mr Postie gave me:
- My new slippers. Now I'm very particular about my slippers. I wear them most all of the time; to work, to the post office, to the local shops, yep even to the pub. Sometimes I wear my PJ bottoms out to these places too (they don't look very pajamerish - in my eyes), I'm all for being comfortable...I just know that I'm going to make a great shuffley old lady one day. Yes, so my new Ugg slippers arrived and they have cool outdoor soles so my feet won't get wet on the way to the supermarket. They were an absolute steal on Ebay; don't buy them from the shops they cost crazy money! Will you look at the pile on that sheepskin?
- This cool mug (the coffee drip on the mug is printed on). AL and I love collecting nice and fun mugs. We're both very proud of our new acquisition (but it's more mine than his. Heh! Heh!)
- Some Moo stickers, cards, and note cards. I'll show 'em to you soon...
- And lastly, the best thing of all. My copy of 'Midwest Modern' arrived HOOORAHHHH!! Amy was kind enough to sign my copy with a very touching message. Over the next few evenings I am going to eat these choccies, sip Redbush tea (super high in antioxidants) and loose myself in this dreamy book. After I've done that, I'll take a few shots of some of the pages, do a review of the book, and then I'm going to give a copy of the book away to one of you good folks (be you readers of this blog, or my other one - I'll give you good warning...). If you fancy a copy of this dreamy deluxe book keep your eyes peeled for announcements.
...Also coming later this week is a Crafting Hero Interview with the wonderful Amanda Soule (of Soule Mama). Woo Hoo! Feels like Christmas (shudder...) has come early!
